'Melt in your mouth' meat recipe goes viral on TikTokIf you're looking to show off your culinary skills this evening, we've got just the recipe for you. It's nice having your family and friends over, especially when it's a meeting which involves food. So if you fancy a mouth-watering dish, a TikTok user shared something delicious recently. User @quickrecipes.us, who boasts 1.5million followers, posted a video showing how to make the juiciest serving of meat with a side of mashed potatoes. The clip shows the "secret" where the meat will "melt in your mouth like butter". So if we've tempted you, here's how to make it yourself. Start by adding 150g of unsalted butter at room temperature in a large sauce pan, then drizzle 50ml of olive oil and stir until melted. The video added: "Next cut 1kg of beef into strips then into smaller pieces. Now transfer to the sauce pan and with the butter and cook until golden brown." Showing the meat fully cooked, the man in the clip then told viewers that's how it should look which means it's time to remove the beef from the pan. He added: "In the same sauce pan add two onions chopped into thin round slices with three crushed garlic cloves then sauté until lightly golden brown. "When that happens, add the fried meat again, season with 1 teaspoon of salt, a pinch of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 and a half tablespoon of mustard, 40ml of soy sauce and stir until incorporated. "Finally add 1ml of water, then cover and let everything cook for 30 minutes." Now while the meat is simmering, you can then turn your attention to the side dish, aka the mashed potatoes. The recipe is simple, just boil potatoes then mash with seasoning. Finally once the meat is cooked through, grab a bowl of 50g of cornstarch, add 100ml of water then mix. You can add this mixture into the meat with chives and parsley. And now it's ready, serve with the mashed potatoes then enjoy. Since it was shared, it garnered 200,000 likes and 5,700 comments. One said: "Looks good minus the cheese on the potatoes." While another follower suggested: "I think it would be good with unsalted butter." Source link Posted: 2024-07-21 16:08:33 |
