A woman revealed how you can save a small fortune by visiting car boot sales and rummaging through their bargain buckets. Responding to a comment criticising her for purchasing second-hand clothes, Becky, who posts on TikTok as @beckysbazaar, clarified she "obviously washes" the items before wearing them.

She also suggested that significant savings could be made by looking in places you wouldn't normally consider.

Becky stated: "Someone commented on my video saying they think it's crazy disgusting that I buy and wear second-hand clothes. Do you know what else is crazy, though? The fact that my mum found these River Island jeans in a rummage bucket at a car boot sale."

She shared a video of her mum extracting a lovely pair of jeans, revealing she managed to snag them for just £1.

On the "same day", Becky said they decided to visit River Island "across the road" from the car boot sale.

"I spotted the exact same pair of jeans, okay? The exact same pair. And they had a price tag on them for £52," she exclaimed.

Becky mentioned her mum looks "incredible" in the jeans, and she saved a whopping £51 by being thrifty at the car boot sale.
