Last year, a new Broadway play called Stereophonic received a record-breaking 13 Tony Award nominations.

The production went on to win five gongs, including Best Play, and has since transferred to London’s West End with a plethora of 5-star reviews.

Set in a Californian recording studio in 1976, the 3-hour epic follows a fictional rock band recording their difficult second album.

Compared by critics to the real-life struggles of Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours sessions, the show features live musical performances by the incredibly talented actor-musicians.

Written by David Adjmi and directed by Daniel Aukin, original songs in the play were composed by Arcade Fire’s Will Butler.
